Does Oppo Approve?

Its a 2001 Subaru Outback 2.5 5 Speed. It has 187,000 miles, a 1000 mile old head gasket, new winter tires, new brakes, a 20,000 mile old clutch and more that I cant remember. He payed $3200 for it. I drove it, I think it has good bones but I'm not used to shifting above 2,000 rpm so I drove it poorly. Anyway I hope he enjoys it.

Definitely on the high side, but it looks super clean. Private sale or dealer? I'm guessing dealer, and that's why the price is so high.

Just keep an eye on the oil consumption.

Did your brother get receipts for all of that recent work/new parts?

The used car market by me is somewhat expensive, but for that mileage, I wouldn't have paid over $2700 at best. For reference, I paid $6300 for my Magnum.

I tried to get him to try for 2900, but he wouldnt do it. I have no idea if he has receipts for all the work. Ill have to get back to ya on that

I have EVERY service record on one of my cars but it turned out to be a total turd anyway.

I had no service records, not even an oil change, on my last car, and it was a rock.

I shift at 2k in my ranger. My 4.0 likes to hang out in the low rev range. It idles at 500 rpm.

Well he should have asked for the headgasket work... I only care if there's proof for things that the seller actually claims ("Just did head gaskets! / New clutch! Used motor with only 65k!")
